This book is written from the perspective of a cat named Ego. Like it says on the cover, it’s a bedtime story. It’s a good bedtime story for children because it’s very short so parents won’t be up all night reading the book to them, near the end Ego yawns and we all know how contagious yawns are, and, at the end of the story Ego says ‘it’s time for me to go to sleep. And, shouldn’t you be doing the same? Good night.

This book has been described as a travelog for children. After all, children are doing quite a lot of travel these days. This book helps young ones to get excited about things they might do and see while in San Francisco or New York City. If not traveling to these cities, it will give them a glimpse of two popular cities as they mentally travel the world.
The Adventure of Pinkus MaGee
Pinkus is excited to visit her aunt for a few days. Thinking of what they might do during her stay, a butterfly passes by her. Pinkus is so amazed at the gracefulness of the butterfly, she begins to daydream about being a butterfly. One thing leads to another and the next thing you know is Pinkus is riding atop the butterfly. She had no idea this was to be the beginning of an adventure she would never forget.

Having a fondness for children, the author enjoys using her imagination to entertain them. She began writing children’s stories as far back as when she was in the sixth grade and her class was given the assignment of writing and illustrating a story to be read to the kindergarten class. Years later, after moving from California to Connecticut, she took up writing stories for children again. A neighbor, who was an artist, encouraged her to do so by agreeing to illustrate her book. Since then, she has written other children’s books,
